Jack Antonoff Net Worth $4 million

To begin with, the boy is the younger brother of fashion designer Rachel Antonoff, grew up in New Milford and Woodcliff Lake, New Jersey. Jack was educated at the Solomon Schechter Day School in Bergen County, and later studied with his sister at a secondary school in New York City, in the same class as future actress Scarlett Johansson. During the second year of high school, together with several friends he founded a punk rock band called Outline, which was dissolved after several members went to study at college.

Concerning his professional career, in 2002 Antonoff and his friend Scott Irby-Ranniar founded a new band called Steel Train of which Antonoff was the lead singer, and secured a record deal with Drive-Thru Records. In 2008, the band Fun was formed by Nate Ruess – Andrew Dost and Jack Antonoff joined the band. Their debut album “Aim and Ignite” was recorded that year with producer Steven McDonald. In 2010, the band appeared together with Vedera as a supporting act for Jack’s Mannequin on their tour. In early 2012, their single “We Are Young” made it to the top position on the Billboard charts, and achieved high chart positions internationally, to give examples number one in the UK and Austria. The follow-up single “Some Nights” released later that year became a top five hit in the US and the UK, among other countries, and the band was rewarded with a Grammy Award in the category of the Best New Artist, while the single “We Are Young” was named the Song of the Year, but the band then broke-up.

In 2014, he released his first single “I Wanna Get Better”, with his new band Bleachers, followed by their debut album “Strange Desire” on which the singers Grimes and Yoko Ono can be heard.

In 2015, their second studio album “Terrible Thrills Vol. 2” followed, and in 2017, the third studio album showed up – “Gone Now”.

Furthermore, Antonoff has become a guest blogger on The Huffington Post, and on which he published his article defending the rights of gays and lesbians, and talked about the importance of so-called straight allies.

Finally, in the personal life of the singer, he was in relationship with the actress Scarlett Johansson, who was his girlfriend from 2001 to 2002. Since 2012, Antonoff’s girlfriend is the actress and screenwriter Lena Dunham.
